If you are reporting a problem, these three things make it far quicker to fix:
- Your device and its operating system version — for example, Pixel 8, Android 15.
- What you were doing when it happened, in enough detail to repeat it.
- Whether it happens every time, or only sometimes.
For anything about your data — what is collected, what stays on your device, how to opt out — see the privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the app free?
- Yes, completely. It is supported by ads, and there is no paid tier or subscription.
- Does it work without internet?
- Yes. All 18 chapters and 700 verses are stored inside the app, so the scripture is fully readable offline. Only the ads need a connection.
- Which languages are included?
- Every verse carries the original Sanskrit plus translations in Hindi, Gujarati and English, and you can switch language on any verse without losing your place.
- What is the word-by-word breakdown?
- Each verse is split into its individual Sanskrit words with the meaning of each one, alongside a plain-language summary and a longer reflection on what the verse teaches. It is there so you can follow the Sanskrit itself, not only a translation of it.
- Are my notes and bookmarks private?
- Yes. They are stored only on your device and are never uploaded — there is no account to attach them to. The privacy policy sets out exactly what does and does not leave your device.
- Will I lose my notes if I reinstall?
- Yes. Notes and bookmarks live on the device, so uninstalling removes them permanently. There is no backup or export yet, so treat anything you would hate to lose accordingly.
- How do I turn the daily reminder on or off?
- Open Settings in the app and use Daily Verse Notification. It is off until you switch it on, and you can pick the time.
- How do I report a problem?
- Email shreecodeinfo@gmail.com with your device model and what you were doing when it happened — that is usually enough to reproduce it.
